Mitchell has litigated a wide range of cases including employment discrimination, breach of contract, real estate, and constitutional issues. He has also successfully litigated numerous adversarial proceedings in bankruptcy court as well as both simple and complex contract disputes. Mitchell also provides advice to his financial institution and other corporate clients in the areas of labor and personnel issues.

Mitchell B. Pollack was appointed as the Village Prosecutor by the mayor of Dobbs Ferry in 1989 and maintained the part-time position through 1997. The growth and success of his private practice required him to resign his position in order to devote his full attention to his clients' needs.
